Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell ruthlessly responded to a reporter’s question following his team’s 31-23 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Sunday’s Divisional Round.
The Lions are off to the NFC Championship Game for the first time in 32 years, a remarkable turnaround after winning just three games in Campbell’s first year as a head coach. And with a win over the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday, the Lions will clinch a trip to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.
Per Kyle Meinke of MLive.com, a reporter mentioned to Campbell that he received plenty of criticism over his introductory press conference three years ago. The third-year head coach then delivered an all-time savage response.
“You’re probably one of them,” Campbell said. “To each his own.”
