Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions have now had a couple of days to digest the insanity from Saturday’s night’s controversial ending to their battle with the Dallas Cowboys. And it appears as though the Lions head coach is moving forward…somewhat…
While Campbell was viable furious on Saturday night while talking with the media following the Lions’ 20-19 loss to the Cowboys, he now appears to be channeling that rage in an effort to “fuel” his team as they enter the playoffs.
While speaking with the media today, Campbell said that he now has “controlled fury” and is “ready to go on” and “use this as fuel.”
Campbell is clearly not over the botched call that cost his Lions a two-point conversion and a possible victory over the Cowboys on Saturday night. With that win, Detroit would have clinched the number two spot in the NFC, with a shot at catching the 49ers for first-place in the conference with a week 18 win and a Niners loss to the Rams.
While he’s not entirely over the blown call, Campbell doesn’t appear to be as heated as he was two nights earlier.

The Lions will now turn their focus to the postseason, but they still have one more meaningless game agains the Vikings before they get there.
