Dan Campbell has never been afraid to tell reporters what’s on his mind. And it’s led to some pretty awesome sound bites over the last few years.
On Sunday, following the Detroit Lions’ victory over the Green Bay Packers, he provided yet another one.
The Lions finally got their second win of the season (and their first since week two), as they held off Aaron Rodgers and company to secure the “W.”
Following the 15-9 victory, Campbell provided reporters with an honest explanation of what was going through his mind.
“I’ll be honest with you, I’m exhausted. I just, you know, wanna go home, put the feet up, drink a beer.”
That sounds like the perfect way to celebrate a big divisional win.
