Former Raiders players just cannot stay out of trouble.
Damon Arnette, a first-round pick of the Raiders in 2020, has been indicted for assault with a deadly weapon and firearm-related charges. The charges stem from an incident at a Las Vegas resort last year.
An arraignment hearing is now scheduled for May 24.
Back in 2022, Arnette was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
The police report at the time stated cops got a call about a person with a gun at Park MGM. Valet workers said Arnette was picking up his car but had lost his ticket, and he became agitated when they asked for his name and identification.
The manager would come over and take the keys, but as he walked away, he “heard what he believed to be the sound of a gun cocking,” the report states. The attendant said he turned and saw Arnette holding a gun and demanding his keys.

Police reviewed surveillance video and described seeing Arnette “reach down and charge his pistol using both hands.”
Arnette told police he took his gun out of his waistband and put it into the driver’s side door during the argument, but he denied taking it out from the door.
Arnette was selected by the Raiders with the 19th overall choice in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but he was released a year later after a video surfaced showing him holding a gun and threatening to kill someone.
Arnette is also facing a lawsuit alleging that he fled the scene after colliding with another automobile in Henderson in 2020, causing serious injury to the other driver. According to court records, a settlement notice was filed last month.
