Damar Hamlin is giving back to first-responders and UC Trauma Center with proceeds from the sales of his T-shirts.
The shirt will have the first thing he said when he woke up at the hospital, Did We Win? They also have a picture of hands in the shape of a heart.
Upon waking up on Wednesday night, with his breathing tube still in, he wrote a question to his doctors: “Did we win?”
“Yes, Damar,” they told him, “you won the game of life.”
The Bills safety, less than a week removed from suffering cardiac arrest after making a tackle, announced on Sunday that the proceeds will go to first-responders and the University of Cincinnati Trauma Center, that helped save Hamlin’s life.
