So you thought the Damar Hamlin clone conspiracy theories were over? You were wrong.
The Buffalo Bills safety is playing football again, having miraculously survived an incident of cardiac arrest earlier this year. Hamlin’s heart reportedly stopped twice after he collided with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins during a Monday Night Football fixture on January 2.
While there were fears his football career could be over, the player was given the all-clear to return to such activity shortly after his scare.
Claims of Hamlin dying and getting cloned emerged after No. 3 made an appearance at Super Bowl 57 and kept swirling about the web for several weeks before vanishing.
But, with the Bills kicking their preseason off this weekend, they’ve sprung right back up.

Hamlin had a solid outing for the Bills against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, helping his team to a 23-19 win with three tackles,
“When you step in between them lines, you’re putting yourself at risk by hesitating and by reserving yourself,” he said to reporters after the outing. “I made the choice that I wanted to play. It wasn’t nobody else’s choice but mine. So making that choice, I know what comes with it.”
What a remarkable journey back for Hamlin. It’s heartwarming and encouraging to see him return to doing what he loves after nearly losing his life on a football field just over seven months ago.
