There is a sexual assault claim against a Texas quarterback and this time we are not talking about Deshaun Watson.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been in the news after he filed a lawsuit accusing a woman of a $100 million extortion attempt by using the threat of a false sexual assault allegation, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The alleged incident took place back in 2017.
Prosper Police and Dallas Police are investigating both the claim of sexual assault and the claim of extortion involving the Cowboys star quarterback.
“Dallas Police Department received a report of a sexual assault the complainant said occurred on February 2, 2017, in the 8500 block of Stemmons Freeway,” a Dallas Police spokesperson told the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday night. “This is an ongoing investigation.”

Prescott denies the sexual assault claims and his lawyer has stated that the sex between them was consensual.
The demand letter to Prescott’s attorney back in January asked for $100 million to forego pursuing criminal charges and keep the allegations quiet.
Victoria Shores allegedly communicated with Prescott on Snapchat in 2017 and the two of them hung out with some of Prescott’s friends. She then stated she was told to get in the back row of an SUV.
Allegations further state Prescott exposed himself to her. Shores’ lawyer claims she verbalized she did not want to engage in sexual intercourse. The vehicle would stop and passengers would exit, but the letter states things turned violent as Prescott “used physical force and sexually assaulted Ms. Shores by penetrating her against her consent.”
The woman’s attorney, Yoel Zwhaie, said his client is considering filing criminal charges.
