CeeDee Lamb made quite the entrance this week.
The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver ran out on the practice field and reminded fans of the greatness of the Red River Rivalry when he arrived for the Dallas Cowboys’ first training camp practice in Oxnard, Cali.
After greeting fans with a couple of peace signs, Lamb heard a fan shout “Boomer Sooner!” To which the former Sooners wide receiver responded with a “Horns Down.”
CeeDee Lamb has taken over as the No. 1 wide receiver for America’s team after the team traded Amari Cooper this offseason. After a fantastic 2021 season, the Cowboys opted to trade Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns to save money in his $20 million cap hit for 2022.
Lamb is hoping to build off of a season in which he caught 79 passes for 1,102 yards and six touchdowns
“That’s a lot to take in. It kind of happened so fast, but I feel like that’s a situation I’m ready to take on,” he said. “Obviously, I hold myself to a high standard already, but obviously, at this moment, there’s nothing else you can really do but take it on. That’s the energy I have.”
