The Dallas Cowboys have added a linebacker to the active roster ahead of their fixture against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
An announcement from the Dallas Cowboys Public Relations account on X notes that the Cowboys have added Rashaan Evans to their active roster this Saturday, also having moved defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko to the injured reserve.
Evans was selected as the 22nd overall pick by the Tenessee Titans out of Alabama in 2018. He spent the first four years of his career with the Titans before signing a one-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons last year.
The 28-year-old recorded a career-high in tackles with 159 (86 solo) and was signed by Dallas for their practice squad in October before this newest development.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are hoping to improve to 7-3 this weekend and should fully expect to do so given that they’re playing a team with a 1-8 record.
