Earlier this week, the Miami Dolphins officially gave Minkah Fitzpatrick permission to seek a trade, and there seems to be one team to keep an eye on already.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones was asked on Friday if the team has had internal discussions or any conversations with the Dolphins in the past 24 hours.
He confirmed that they have. Of course, he could not mention Fitzpatrick’s name.
It should also be noted that Fitzpatrick’s agent, Joel Segal, also represents Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper and defensive end Taco Charlton.
It really shouldn’t come as a shock as to why Fitzpatrick would want off a rebuilding franchise in Miami. It was heavily reported that several players called their agents to seek a trade after the team’s embarrassing 59-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last weekend.
