The Dallas Cowboys resisted the urge to get involved in trades ahead of last week’s deadline but have made a shocking roster move this Tuesday as they’re acquiring another wide receiver.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Cowboys are signing Martavis Bryant to a contract following his reinstatement by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Bryant hasn’t played in the league since 2018, but featured in the XFL last season.
In 44 career games, he’s registered 2,183 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. It will be interesting to see what he brings to Dallas after his lengthy NFL hiatus.
Yeah, we’re not sure how Shams got this scoop over insiders Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport either. But what a slam dunk.
