It looks like Dak Prescott will have another shot to get the long-term deal that he desires.
On Wednesday, Ed Werder of ESPN reported that the Dallas Cowboys had reopened contract negotiations with Dak Prescott for the first time since using the exclusive franchise tag on him.
Liz Loza of Yahoo would state she heard rumors that the two sides were actually closing in on a four-year contract with an annual salary of $35 million.
Charles Robinson confirmed that news and then added his source said the team wanted 5-years.

The former fourth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2016 was in line to make $26.824 million fully guaranteed for the 2020 season with the franchise tag.
During the 2019 season, the 26-year-old racked up 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
