The Dallas Cowboys are gearing up for the final stretch of the season as they add four and cut four to the practice squad before Week 18.
La’el Collins is officially back in the Cowboys organization. Because of his return, it means somebody had to go.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Martavis Bryant is yet again a free agent after the Dallas Cowboys released him. Bryant joined the Dallas organization days after his indefinite suspension was lifted by the NFL in Noveber, but he never made it to the 53-man roster.
The Cowboys also released wide receiver Tyron Billy-Johnson, offensive lineman Adam Pankey, and defensive tackle Willington Previlon from the practice squad.
Collins signed with the Cowboys on Thursday and will join the practice squad ahead of the team’s Week 18 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
After stints in the CFL, Indoor Football League, Fan Controlled Football, and the XFL, Bryant will now be looking for his next team that likely will not come into the offseason.
