The NBA’s Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Lakers are next up with values of $8.28 billion, $7.43 billion, and $7.34 respectively, while the New York Yankees round off the top five with a value of $7.13 billion.
The New York Giants are the second most valuable NFL franchise at $7.04 billion, with the Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Jets making up the top 10.
The top 100 teams cover just six sports and 10 leagues around the world and are worth a collective $405 billion when team-related businesses and owners’ real estate are included.
