A former Pro Bowl star could team up with Dak Prescott for the Dallas Cowboys.
CBS Sports’ Jordan Dajani has suggested that the Cowboys could make a move to sign Juju Smith-Schuster, who currently plays for the Kansas City Chiefs but is set to be a free agent at the end of the season.
Schuster has resurrected his career in Kansas City and is now Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target – of course, secondary to Travis Kelce.
Dajani reckons Schuster would be an excellent second option behind CeeDee Lamb, though he’s also likely to stay with the Chiefs.
“Maybe JuJu stays in Kansas City, but Dallas is a legitimate landing spot for Smith-Schuster if he wants to look elsewhere,” Dajani explained.
“He said he was impressed with the Cowboys’ facilities last year and that he “wouldn’t mind” catching passes from Dak Prescott. With all due respect to Smith-Schuster, he may be a more effective No. 2 than No. 1. He and CeeDee Lamb working together would be fun to watch.”

Schuster did admit to being an admirer of Prescott. While in free agency last year, he showered praise on the Cowboys quarterback while hinting he would love to join the Cowboys.
“He’s a great quarterback,” Schuster said during a promotional interview at the Cowboys’ practice facility. “Catching balls from him in a facility like this, I wouldn’t mind it. … The Steelers are still working on trying to get out of the wooden locker rooms.”
