One NFL team can boast having the best attendance record during the 2022/23 season but will be hoping to achieve a whole lot more still.
The Dallas Cowboys were really America’s Team this term, per this stat from Sunday Night Football on NBC. The Cowboys recorded a total attendance of 841,192 in nine games at their AT&T Stadium, which is, by far, the best number in the league.
The New York Giants came the closest, with 688,266, with the Green Bay Packers attracting 685,623.
Fans will hardly rue attending Cowboys home games this season as the team went 8-1 on their own turf and 12-5 overall. Things did appear to be trending poorly after Dallas lost their season opener to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home but they ended up winning their next eight home fixtures.
As luck would have it, they will be playing the Bucs away in the first round of the playoffs so they won’t have the support of their loud home crowd, yet they will hope to return to Texas with a much-needed playoff win.
It’s no surprise that the Cowboys brought in the most fans this season. For one, they are the Dallas Cowboys; and, two, they have the third-largest stadium in the league.

The 80,000-seater venue is only trumped by the Giants’ MetLife Stadium and the Packers’ Lambeau Field.
