The Dallas Cowboys desperately needed to score touchdowns and win a game without Dak Prescott behind center, and they did both on Sunday.
The team came out against the Cincinnati Bengals ready to ball, as the defense made things uncomfortable for Joe Burrow all game long.
However, things got crazy as the home team squandered away a 17-3 lead in the second half. The fan base was starting to get upset and it didn’t take long for tempers to flare in the stands.
All was well at the end as the team kicked the game-winning field goal.

Fortunately for the Cowboys and their fans, they were able to hold on and kick a game-winning field goal at the end to escape with a 20-17 victory.
Cooper Rush came through big-time in his second career start, completing 19 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown. More importantly, he didn’t turn the ball over. Instead, he and the rest of the Cowboys offense played a smart, conservative game that kept their defense in good position to make plays and help win the game.
