A Dallas Cowboys running back saw his season come to an end in a heartbreaking way.
The team is moving running back Deuce Vaughn to injured reserve and activating defensive end Junior Fehoko to that roster spot for Week 18. This move means Vaughn will have to sit out for at least four weeks, meaning he wouldn’t be available again for Dallas until the Super Bowl, should the team get that far.
Vaughn came into his rookie year with very high hopes as he was the darling of the 2023 draft. Deuce’s father, Chris Vaughn is the head of college scouting for the Dallas Cowboys; and he got to make the call to his son, to tell him he was going to work with him next week.
Since being drafted, Deuce has had a very minimal impact on the field.
Vaughn has appeared in seven games this season as a rookie, but only tallied 80 yards from scrimmage on 30 total offensive touches.
