The Cowboys are hoping a home-field advantage will help them get off an embarrassing list.
The Houston Texans meet the Dallas Cowboys in the “Battle for Texas,” with the entire NFL watching on Monday Night Football.
Since last season’s playoffs, the Cowboys have lost their last five home games and been outscored by a whopping 201-91 combined score.
It only gets worse.
Every NBA, MLB, NFL & NHL team has won a home game in 2024 except the Dallas Cowboys. They are the only team in the four major sports not to have one win in front of their fans.

This is quite shocking for a team that had an 8-0 record at home in 2023 and an 8-1 record in 2022.

No one can explain why the Cowboys suddenly cannot win games at AT&T Stadium.
“We haven’t won one this year, so definitely disappointing for us out here and disappointing for our fans,” said running back Rico Dowdle, per Fox News.
“Winning will make everyone feel better, and I think we all know that and that’s why we’re so desperate to get one,” Cooper Rush said.
If it makes the Dallas Cowboys feel any better, both Dallas and Houston are on losing streaks going into Monday Night Football.
Dallas was blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles last week, and the Texans have also lost two games in a row to the Lions and the Jets.
The Cowboys have never lost to the Texans at home, so they have history on their side.
Dallas Cowboys Will Need A Better Showing With Cooper Rush As Quarterback
Quarterback Cooper Rush is expected to start with Dak Prescott out with a season-ending hamstring injury.
Last week was not a good start as Rush completed 13-of-23 passes for just 45 yards against the Eagles.
Rush will need to play so much better against a tough Texans defense if the team wants to try and salvage their 2024 season.
