Things could not have possibly gone worse for the New York Giants in their season opener against the longtime rival Dallas Cowboys.
The G-Men were no match for the visitors, who throttled Brian Daboll’s squad in every asset of the game. With the Cowboys leading 33-0 in the third quarter, Giants’ supporters began heading for the exits.
Meanwhile, Dallas fans took over MetLife Stadium by breaking out “Let’s Go Cowboys” chants:
Trailing 40-0 in the fourth, to the point where Dallas was able to pull its starters? Certainly not the way the Giants wanted to open their season.
