During Thursday Night Football, a familiar voice was not heard calling the game.
Brad Sham, the radio voice of the Cowboys, was unavailable to call the big matchup for the Dallas Cowboys Thursday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks due to an illness.
According to Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, Sham suffered a “medical scare” while he was en route to AT&T Stadium.
Sham released a brief statement to the Dallas Morning News about his health.
“I fell ill en route to the game,” he said on Thursday night. “I was advised to get it checked out. Testing and resting. Looking forward to next week. Only other game I missed was vs. Minnesota for food poisoning in ‘83. Don’t recommend either.”
Kyle Youmans replaced Sham on the call for Thursday night’s game for the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network.
