Dak Prescott is getting ready to show that he is 100% ready to hit the field after his devastating injury last season. It will be Prescott’s first game since he suffered a gruesome ankle injury against the New York Giants in Week 5 of the 2020 season.
Stephen Jones, the Cowboys executive vice president, said Tuesday Prescott is “100% ready to go” and has “looked outstanding” during practice.
In attendance tonight will be his girlfriend, Natalie, who took to her Instagram story and sent a very important message.
“Grew up in this stadium wearing my [Mike] Alstott jersey to every game, only to move out of my home state and come back to cheer on my own boyfriend in the same stadium surrounded by family. God is good. Go get em, babe!”
The Cowboys and Prescott agreed to a four-year, $160 million contract extension that included a $66 million signing bonus and $126 million guaranteed. In 69 career games, he’s recorded 17,634 passing yards, 106 touchdown passes and 40 interceptions.
Dallas opens its season Thursday against the reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
