Dak Prescott might have a lawsuit coming his way, but what’s even worse than that, is the Dallas Cowboys quarterback dog is in danger of getting put down after it got loose and bit a neighbor and sent her to the hospital as a result.
Frisco, Texas, police seized one of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s dogs on Monday morning after it escaped from his home and bit his neighbor, according to the Dallas Morning News. A neighbor called the police when they saw a loose dog in the neighborhood fighting with her dog through a fence in her front yard, according to the report. Once she got outside, she saw that it was actually two dogs. When she attempted to break up the fight, she was bitten by the Dallas Cowboys QB’s dog.
She was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Prescott’s dog was quarantined last Monday and was supposed to remain there for 10 days before being released. Unfortunately, things changed due to the seriousness of the situation.
Via TMZ:
Law enforcement tells us … the case has been referred to the City of Frisco Municipal Court for a hearing to determine if the dog will be, or should be classified as a “dangerous dog.”
If found to be dangerous, we’re told there are multiple options on how to deal with it — one of the options is euthanasia.
One official tells us the goal is to work with all parties for an amicable resolution — but putting the dog to sleep is a real possibility. Another option could be removing the dog from city limits.
The report goes on to say that the dog will remain in quarantine until a decision is made.
