Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw a pick-six against the Philadelphia Eagles early on in the contest and it looked like things would go downhill from there. Instead, Prescott would not let the early blunder deter him as he powered Dallas to its biggest win of the season.
The 29-year-old threw for 347 yards, three touchdowns and an interception to lead the Cowboys to a thrilling 40-34 victory over their NFC East rivals.
Because he played so well, one Eagles fan decided to take a horrible shot at him and his family. The fan stated they were glad that their mother and brother died. Prescott’s mom died of cancer, while his brother died by suicide.
The fan also hoped that his other brother, Tad, also died.
Tad has since spoken out:
“Just want to say thank you to everyone reaching out over the IG post. Thank y’all for the support, it’s sad but truly something I’ve become used to. People get behind the keyboard and say things they’d never say in person. He’s obviously someone who needs love. Thanks again,” he wrote.

What that Eagles did was make a ton of enemies and have them root against his favorite squad. Sports should never be this serious, but as we have seen over the years, some people can’t seem to realize that.
With the victory, it is still mathematically viable for the Cowboys to win the NFC East in the final two weeks of the season. Saturday’s performance was Prescott’s first 300-yard game of the 2022 season, and it came at the perfect time.
The Cowboys will look to keep the momentum going with they return to action on Thursday Night Football this week to visit the Tennessee Titans.
