Dak Prescott is certainly capable of winning games and taking these Dallas Cowboys to the playoffs each year. But his biggest criticism is his inability to win the big games against the NFL’s top teams.
It seems like every time Dak comes up against a top defense in the regular season, or a legit contender in the playoffs, he just doesn’t have an answer. That was the case last season when his Cowboys ran into the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. And it was the case once again tonight, as Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense hasn’t been able to get anything going against that same Niners defense on Sunday Night Football.
With Prescott managing just 127 yards through three quarters and the Cowboys trailing 35-10 early in the fourth, NFL fans took to ‘X’ to lay into the 30-year-old signal-caller.

With the loss, the Cowboys will fall to 3-2 on the season.
I’m sure they’ll still beat up on enough terrible teams to make it into the postseason, but one thing was made very clear tonight: Dak is not the answer. And until the Cowboys’ front office can admit that fact, they’ll continue to buckle when they need him the most in January.
