The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Jets 30-10 in a dominant performance.
Quarterback Dak Prescott finally put on the type of display that his fan base wants to see from him as he completed 31 of 38 pass attempts for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Tony Pollard had a career-high 25 carries and 109 all-purpose yards. It should also be mentioned that the defense was once again dominant as they held the New York Jets to just 10 points and forced several turnovers.
Prescott’s rumored girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, also had a huge day as she watched the action live while inside AT&T Stadium for the home opener. She posted about it on her Instagram story.
Dallas opened with a 40-0 rout of the NFC East rival Giants, while the Jets were coming off an emotional overtime win over Buffalo after Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles on the fourth snap of his New York debut.
There was a scary moment during the game when Dallas defensive assistant Sharrif Floyd was taken off the field in the second half over medical concerns. He went down on the sideline and was attended to before going to the medical tent. Luckily, he was able to walk off to the locker room under his own power.
