Dak Prescott had some choice words for his haters following his performance against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.
The quarterback has come under immense criticism since becoming the starter for the Dallas Cowboys. This season has been no different, yet there’s not much to be said about him over the last seven weeks as he’s been playing at an elite level.
Prescott has found himself in the MVP conversation after firing his team to a 41-35 win over the Seahawks. The former Mississippi State star completed 29 of his 41 passing attempts for 299 yards and three touchdowns, while he didn’t throw for any interceptions.
His came through especially late in the game as he led three drives that ended with touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Speaking to reporters after the win, Dak had a message for his detractors.
“I appreciate them,” he said.

The QB also pointed out that he’s the one in control of the narrative surrounding his career.
“People can say what they want, but I have the pen and I have the paper, so I’m the one doing the writing,” he added.
Dak has been playing some of the best football of his career this season. He’s thrown 21 touchdowns passes with just two interceptions in his last seven outings, with the Cowboys 6-1 over that stretch. Their only loss came against the best team in the league, the Philadelphia Eagles – and, even then, his performance earned him lots of praise.
Dallas, now 9-3, will have another go at the Eagles in just over a week’s time.
