Dak Prescott’s status as the league’s highest-paid player hasn’t come without its issues so far through three games.
The Cowboys signal-caller continues to be the biggest lightning rod for criticism during Dallas’ 1-2 start, and it will only continue following his shocking decision this week.
Jon Machota of The Athletic revealed that with a pivotal matchup looming for Week 4 on Thursday Night Football, Dak Prescott made the curious decision to avoid talking to the media.
“Dak Prescott usually talks to reporters the week before a game,” Machota wrote. “Can’t remember the last time he hasn’t. But nothing on this short week.”
The Dallas Cowboys have not had a hard time taking down the New York Giants in years past, but divisional games can be tricky, and you can’t predict how they will go.
The Dallas Cowboys hosted the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 of the NFL and hoped they would have a better showing after falling 44-19 to the New Orleans Saints the week before, also at home.

No such luck as Dak Prescott, and the offense could do nothing on offense, and the Cowboy defense was once again playing terribly as Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry ran all over them.
Dak Prescott Delivers Message After Second-Straight Defeat
The Dallas Cowboys suffered their second straight home loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and quarterback Dak Prescott had a message for everyone.
Prescott didn’t have his best game either, but he led a fourth-quarter comeback to end the game with decent stats.
Everyone was clearly upset after the 28-25 loss, and when Prescott was walking through the tunnel, he said, “Jump off if you want.”
Prescott is apparently referring to jumping off the bandwagon, as the team is down right now.
For those unaware, jumping on the bandwagon is what people do when they just want to follow a winning team because they’re winning.
