Last week, the Dallas Cowboys had signed the majority of their 2019 Draft class, and that was after they had inked Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence to a massive $105 million deal.
That was just the tip of the iceberg for the Cowboys front office, because they still have to get ready to give deals to QB Dak Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliott.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is likely next in line to get paid and it might net him a contract paying upwards of $30 million a year.
Many outside people have commented on the situation, but Dak hasn’t spoke about it until recently, when he stated,
“I think the people that are doing the deal feel the same way so to me it’s no rush. I know it will get done.”
“I want to be a Cowboy forever,” he said.
Prescott isn’t sweating the details:
“It’s all generational money and life-changing money. It’s a blessing just to be in this position. But as far as the numbers are concerned, my focus is within the locker room. I know it’ll get taken care of, so it is what it is,” he said.
