Dak Prescott was the one guy on the Dallas Cowboys that everybody knew who would be getting an insane contract during the offseasson. That contract never came as it has been reported he turned down a deal that would pay him around $30 million per year.
During the 1st three games of the season, the Cowboys QB was looking like an MVP candidate as he racked up 920 yards passing and nine touchdowns to only 2 interceptions. It felt as if that contract just went up substantially.
In the last two contests, however, Dak has thrown 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions, which has lead to 2-straight losses.
During Sunday’s contest against the Packers — Dak didn’t throw for a single passing yard on third down all game long.
There is no doubt that Dak will get paid, but only the Cowboys front office only knows how much they will be willing to give him given his track record against winning teams since 2017.
