2020 is really a trying time in this country and the rest of the world as the coronavirus continues infect thousands of people and take the lives of loved ones.
Many high profiled celebrities and athletes have used this time to send out multiple messages for people to practice social distancing if they are going to be out and about, but Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott clearly wasn’t listening.
The former teammates got back together on Thursday to workout, but when the workout was over, they took a group photo with others and everybody pretty much shunned the six-foot rule that has been in place to stop the spread of the virus.
Longtime Cowboys writer Clarence Hill noticed this as well and promptly called them out on it.
“Athletes working out and not social distancing tells you we are still not taking Covid-19 serious enough,” Hill wrote on Twitter. “Youth and elite athleticism doesn’t make [you] immune and it doesn’t prevent you from passing it on.”
May seem harsh, but he is absolutely right. They can very well get the disease and survive it, but what about the people they come into contact with down the road.
