A report has come out detailing an 11-hour period in which Dak Prescott was unconscious.
According to the Star-Telegram, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback was sedated for the aforementioned timespan so he could get a huge leg tattoo done in one sitting during the spring.
“People are gonna think it’s crazy and it is crazy,” Prescott was quoted as saying. “I get that. But I’m crazy. That’s my point is I am. I know I am. I’m not afraid of nothing.”
Seems like you’re afraid to stay awake while getting a tattoo, Dak, but okay…
The QB’s ink, which was much publicized several months ago, honors his brother Jace, who took his own life three years ago, as well as his late mother, Peggy. There’s also a nod to Kobe Bryant, a Jumpman logo, the Dallas skyline, and Daffy Duck.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did not know Dak would be undertaking such a process, nor did head coach Mike McCarthy.

“I certainly didn’t know he was under for 10 hours,” Jones admitted. “Just so you’re clear, I had no idea about tattoos. I better get up to date on it. I had no idea that required that kind of sedation of any tattoo. It further explains to me why I don’t have a tattoo.”
Fortunately, everything went well for Dak, who’s raring to go ahead of the Cowboys’ Week 1 encounter with the New York Giants on Sunday.
