The Cowboys have made a tradition out of celebrating touchdowns in the big red Salvation Army bucket. Dak Prescott unwrapped a turkey leg which was inside a Salvation Army Kettle after his fourth touchdown pass on Thanksgiving.
The fact that Prescott and his Cowboys teammates spent days planning the celebration shows the team’s confidence.
The quarterback revealed that there were turkey legs in every one of the Salvation Army kettles.
We now have mic’d up footage of him telling wide receiver CeeDee Lamb about them mid-game.
The Cowboys defeated the NFC East rival Washington Commanders, 45-10, Thursday. Prescott finished with 331 yards on 22-for-32 passing with a QBR of 142.1, and 10 different Cowboys caught at least one pass.
Dallas improved to 8-3, and the Commanders fell to 4-8. The Cowboys are desperately trying to keep pace with the 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles who continue to find ways to win games, especially in the last two contests.

The Cowboys will be back in action Thursday when it hosts the Seattle Seahawks.
