D.K. Metcalf is a huge man, but when you put a guy like him next to an NBA legend, he doesn’t look all that humongous.
Metcalf standing next to Dikembe Mutombo is a very funny sight to behold. The star receiver for the Seattle Seahawks shared an Instagram photo of himself posing with the former Atlanta Hawks legend.
Mutombo is 7’2” and Metcalf is listed at 6’4″. There’s about ten inches between the two of them, but the above photo makes it look even worse.
The wide receiver market has been turned upside-down over the last month, and Metcalf could see his talent being moved. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, league executives believe the Seattle Seahawks’ DK Metcalf could be traded for “the right price,” and the wide receiver “would welcome a change.”
Metcalf is making $4 million next season in the final year of his rookie contract. Because he was a second-round pick, the Seahawks do not have the option of giving him a fifth-year option, meaning he’ll be an unrestricted free agent next offseason.
