It won’t be the typical “Sunday Night Football” crew on hand for the Patriots vs. Broncos game.
Veteran sports broadcaster Cris Collinsworth will not be on call tonight.
NBC turned its regular Sunday Night Football crew — Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth — to call the game between the Bills and Chargers on Saturday as it aired on Peacock. The game was the first time Peacock would be the exclusive home of an NFL game.
Because of that game, Collinsworth won’t be on tonight as fans had a lot to say and it appears not many fans are going to miss him.
“If you gave us an option of more Collinsworth or commercials, I’m choosing commercials,” one fan added.
“Collinsworth is why they invented the mute button! Watched the whole game that way,” another fan added.

Collinsworth has been a regular face on the Sunday night broadcasts since the late 2000s. This year marked his 15th with the NBC program, which set a record for the most seasons by an analyst on the NFL’s broadcast primetime package, according to his NBC biography.
When Collinsworth is not in the studio commentating football games, he is likely spending time with his family.
