Cris Collinsworth should’ve left this message in the dumps.
NBC’s NFL color commentator is being blasted on Wednesday, and it has nothing to do with the usual people complaining about him calling a game.
During Wednesday’s Pittsburgh Steelers win over the Baltimore Ravens, Collinsworth talked with play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico about conversations he had with Steelers fans before the game. He revealed that he was “blown away” to learn that women are actually knowledgeable about football.
“Everybody’s a fan,” Collinsworth said. “In particular the ladies that I met. They have really specific questions about the game. I’m like wow, just blown away.”
