Matt LaFleur has yet to coach Aaron Rodgers in a regular season game and there seems to already be controversy brewing between them.
Cris Carter thinks he knows exactly why there’s an issue.
The hall of fame wide receiver, who is a host on First Things First, discussed Rodgers on Monday’s show and said he thinks it’s clear that Rodgers is the issue in all of this and brought up his personal relationship with his parents, siblings, and Brett Favre to make his point.
“You’d believe Aaron Rodgers would have a problem with Matt LaFleur because he’s had a problem with his parents, his siblings, his teammates,” Carter said. “His relationship with Brett Favre didn’t start off great. I wonder why? Sometimes it is Aaron Rodgers.”
Rodgers is considered to be one of the best quarterbacks not only in the league right now, but in the history of the NFL. Unfortunately, his career has only produced one Super Bowl appearance. In fact, the Green Bay Packers haven’t even qualified for the postseason in the last two seasons.
He is not getting any younger and the controversy is starting to wear thin.
