CeeDee Lamb falling into the Dallas Cowboys lap in the 2020 NFL Draft wasn’t even talked about happening, but luck was on ‘America’s team’ side.
On Friday, Lamb posted a photo of himself to Instagram, wearing his Cowboys uniform at The Star in Frisco.
Shortly after being picked 17th overall by Dallas in this year’s draft, Lamb wasn’t entirely sure if he’d wear No. 88 or not.
“I had the option of picking 10 or 88, and I picked 10,” Lamb said during an interview with “GBag Nation” on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM].
Jerry Jones would go on to convince him to do so as he joins the likes of Michael Irvin, Drew Pearson and Dez Bryant who have all worn that number.
Lamb will start his NFL career with a 75 overall rating, which he received from the Madden video game series.
