The Dallas Cowboys’ Twitter account had zero sympathies for Dak Prescott in the wake of his poor performance against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night.
The Texas-based outfit is out of the playoffs, having lost 19-12 on the night, and will be watching on as the San Francisco 49ers play the Philadelphia Eagles to decide who goes to the Super Bowl next month.
Prescott threw for 206 yards and one touchdown. But he also threw two interceptions that cost his team what would have been a significant win.
The QB, who performed excellently against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round, must be all sorts of depressed right now. Fans have been calling for the team to trade him via social media and his own team’s Twitter account seemed to throw him under the bus on the back of the loss.
“Dak Prescott gave away the ball twice in the narrow loss to the 49ers, in a matchup the Cowboys had a chance to win if they didn’t again generate self-inflicted wounds,” reads a tweet from the account.
Somewhat strangely, there were several other tweets blasting the Cowboys coming from their own account. You could see a few of them below:

Some really bitter Twitter from the Cowboys there. And, to be honest, you never see this happen.
These read as if the account manager was really sick of the team and was on the verge of quitting. It even seems like the account may have gotten hacked.
