Things can change in a second during NFL free agency, and we have more proof of of that following today’s shocking turn of events.
Earlier, it was reported that the San Francisco 49ers were signing former Los Angeles Chargers star linebacker Eric Kendricks.
The move was a big one, as it added a former Pro Bowler to a Niners team that is already loaded with some big-name superstars on the defensive side of the ball.
However, it appears as though the the former second-round pick from 2015 has had a sudden change of heart.
According to new reports, Kendricks has had a sudden change of heart, as he has now opted to pass on the Niners in favor of their NFC rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted that Cowboys defensive coordinator wanted Kendricks to help run his defense in Dallas, and that’s exactly what he’ll do with his new deal in Big D.
The 32 year old superstar is coming off a season in which he recorded 117 tackles, 3.5 sacks, six passes defensed and a forced fumble.
Cowboys Get Some Much Needed Help
Dallas is coming off another season that ended in a disappointing playoff loss — this one coming at the hands of the Green Bay Packers.
Most Cowboys fans are still waiting to see which running back the team signs as they look to fill the void after allowing Tony Pollard to walk in free agency.
Many reports have looked at Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon and Derrick Henry as possible replacements. Whether any of them decides to sign with the Cowboys remains to be seen.
