Dallas Cowboys rookie Sam Williams provided everyone with some great news yesterday when he Tweeted out that both he and the other driver in their two-vehicle crash were okay. And after seeing what the defensive end’s black Corvette looked like following the wreck, let’s just say it’s a Christmas miracle that no one was seriously injured.
Williams was reportedly involved in a car accident near the Dallas Cowboys’ facility following Thursday’s practice, as he was struck by a black Infiniti that was turning into oncoming traffic. Williams and the other driver were transported to a local hospital, but according to Williams, everyone was okay.
Today, video has emerged of the aftermath from the accident, and based on the wreckage, Williams is lucky to be alive, let alone uninjured.
Fox4’s Jeff Kolb provided footage of the two vehicles as they were being taken away by a tow truck, and it definitely appears as though Williams took the brunt of the collision.
In the video, you can see the entire driver’s side of Williams’ Corvette destroyed, while the Infiniti only appears to be damaged on the front end. This likely suggests that the Infiniti made a left turn into the driver’s side of Williams’ vehicle as he was traveling straight in the opposite direction.

Williams indicated that he was okay, but there’s still a chance that he could be extra sore when he wakes up this morning. It’ll be interesting to see if the Cowboys provide an update on his status today, as they could sure use him for their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday.
