The Dallas Cowboys notched a huge win on Sunday, beating the New England Patriots in overtime at Gillette Stadium. The win came by way of a Dak Prescott pass finding CeeDee Lamb for a game-winning score in overtime.
The team is thrilled over the win, but a little wind got taken out of their sails when Prescott reportedly had to limp off the field on Sunday night.
According to the team, Prescott suffered a strained calf injury in the win over the Patriots. Prescott will undergo further examination – possibly an MRI – on the calf when the team returns to DFW.

“I’ll be fine. I promise you that,” Prescott added. “Life keeps throwing punches. I’ll keep throwing them back.”
Unlike last season, there is no quality backup waiting to take over if Prescott misses time. However, he has plenty of time to rest before they have to play their next game.
