Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is now a father.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, the star signal-caller revealed the wonderful life-changing news regarding him and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos: The two had their first child, a daughter named MJ, last Thursday.
Ramos announced in an Instagram post in November that the two were expecting their first child, a daughter, together. Ramos and Prescott have mostly kept details of their relationship private, though it’s known that they’ve been together since at least September.
It’s a wonderful development for one of the NFL’s generous, selfless and caring players. As Prescott awaits an extension from the Cowboys, he and Ramos will spend the offseason raising their first child together.
The 2022 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award winner is entering the final season of a four-year, $160 million pact he signed in the 2021 offseason. Prescott also told reporters that he’s “confident” a new deal will get done with the only NFL team he’s ever known.
