Dak Prescott reportedly took one of his Cowboys teammates to the point of frustration during Sunday’s loss to the Packers.
The Cowboys are out of the playoffs again, this time courtesy of a surprising loss to a No. 7 seed. Prescott has been on the receiving end of loads of criticism as he’s been accused of choking when it counts.
Heading into the game, though, the QB put together a string of solid performances that had him in the MVP conversation.
According to insider Jane Slater, one of Dak’s teammates reflected on the heartbreaking loss, expressing frustration at the team’s unwillingness to adjust to live situations, as well as Prescott panicking when he wasn’t able to get the first read.
“Another player was frustrated with a stubbornness to stick to schemes on both sides of the ball. Motion offenses killing defenses and concern that Dak panics when 1st read not there,” Slater shared on X this week.
The quarterback shouldered the blame after the defeat, admitting he “sucked.”

“I sucked tonight,” he remarked. “That was it. Got it going a little bit later, but none of that mattered at that point. Fought. That’s all I really know how to do, but, yeah, I mean it’s about winning. It’s about winning in the playoffs and then getting to the last game and winning that as well. And yeah, tough.”
