Jerry Jones certainly looks like a man who’s had enough, and that doesn’t bode well for head coach Mike McCarthy.
The Cowboys were humiliated 48-32 by the massive underdog Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium in Sunday’s Super Wild Card Round tilt. The game was essentially over late in the first half, however, once the Packers jumped out to a 27-0 lead.
Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News and Jon Machota of The Athletic shared videos of a visibly agitated and angry Jones walking towards the Cowboys’ locker room after the game:
It was widely reported before this weekend that McCarthy needed a deep playoff run to save his job, and it’s hard to imagine him coming back after Sunday’s performance. One can also only wonder if Jones might be ready to cut ties with quarterback Dak Prescott, who now has just two career playoff wins in eight seasons.
