Jerry Jones has shared some details following his family’s involvement in an accident on Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys and the Jones family had a regrettable weekend, with the team falling to 3-4 on the back of a loss to the San Francisco 49ers, while a car carrying some members of his family, including his son, daughter, and grandson, hitting a rising barricade outside of the Niners’ Levi’s Stadium.
The longtime team owner told 105.3 The Fan the barrier destroyed the entire frame of the vehicle and that his daughter, Charlotte, still wasn’t feeling great.
Per Jane Slater: “Wow! Jerry Jones tells @1053thefa the rising barrier in San Francisco “busted all the frame” of the vehicle his family was riding in. “tremendous force like a small explosion had gone off under there. Tremendous” He said his daughter Charlotte “wasn’t feeling as good as she had hoped she would feel yesterday and today”, his son Jerry, Jr. was “concussed” but feeling better.”

Jerry’s daughter Charlotte is a part owner of the Cowboys and is also the team’s chief marketing officer and vice president. She’s been with the organization since her father purchased it in 1989.

Charlotte, Jerry Jr., and Shy Anderson Jr. were all checked by the Cowboys medical staff and were cleared to enter the stadium to watch the game. However, reports claimed Charlotte was suspected to have suffered a rib injury while Jerry Jr. had a head injury.
The Cowboys are set for another road game this weekend, as they’re to play the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
