Micah Parsons just finished a spectacular season that got him the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Despite playing with an injury, Parsons recorded 84 combined tackles, 30 quarterback hits, 20 tackles for loss, 13 sacks and three forced fumbles, all of which made him a first-team Pro Bowl honoree.
The Dallas Cowboys had a good regular season in 2021, but their season ended like many others when they make it to the postseason, without securing at least one victory. The Cowboys got ousted from the playoffs by the 49ers at home at AT&T Stadium.
Parsons’ 2021 season didn’t end the way the had planned as his Cowboys were eliminated in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. He spoke on that loss and how fans cheer even more when they fail.
“I didn’t expect to go out like that,” Parsons said. “That’s one bad thing abut the Cowboys, when we lose, everybody is happy we lose. It just builds something inside. I think next year is going to be a different type of hunger for me.”
“I knew but I didn’t really know,” Parsons said to ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio. “But I didn’t know like Dallas was like Dallas. I didn’t know we had that much hate. I didn’t know all that came with it.”

When CeeDee Lamb was then asked about playing for the Cowboys by Florio, he confirmed that everyone loves watching them lose.
“Everyone loves to see you lose,” Lamb said. “It’s crazy. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
Lamb finished his 2021 campaign with 1,102 yards and six touchdowns on 79 receptions.
Just like every season, the Cowboys are expected to come into the 2022 season with Super Bowl aspirations, but they just need to put it all together to make it happen for a full season.
The team might look very different after the offseason, but it remains to be seen if the team will actually go through with parting ways with certain players on the squad.
One things for sure, Parsons and Lamb will be there for a long time.
