Dallas Cowboys superstar linebacker Micah Parsons has called out FS1’s Skip Bayless as their public feud continues to grow.
Despite being a giant Cowboys fan, Bayless has often been critical of Dallas’ best player. Parsons took note when Bayless called him out after the Cowboys’ stunning loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round. (WARNING: TWEET BELOW CONTAINS LANGUAGE THAT IS NSFW):
Bayless continued their feud earlier this week when he asked Parsons if he wants “to be a commentator or a game-wrecker”. Needless to say, it didn’t take long for Parsons to respond to the veteran sports journalist.
Speaking on the latest edition of “The Edge with Micah Parsons”, the 24-year-old linebacker called out Bayless in a now-viral video.
“Skip, I’ve never once asked you to hype me up…you did that because you saw what I was doing on the field…You’re the one that wanted me on your show, to come speak on your show. And I wanted to do my own route because of your bad ties and who you are. I did not want to be partnered with you…
You could try whatever narrative…whatever you want to be. But a person who’s been All-Pro for three years…I guess I am not that guy and I got to do more to be a guy. Whatever narrative that drives your boat.”

The thing about Bayless is that he’s made a name for himself by saying outrageous things and giving head-scratching takes that almost nobody agrees with. And yet, people still continue to watch Bayless’ “Undisputed” program on FS1.
Bayless is accomplishing his goal of getting attention by saying things that will enrage fans, and in many cases, professional athletes themselves. Parsons is far from the first notable NFL star to have a public feud with Bayless, after all.
But it is also truly unfair for Bayless to critique a player like Parsons, who has single-handedly changed the Cowboys’ defense since arriving in 2021. This group finished 28th in scoring defense in 2020, but they’ve been a top-10 group every year since Parsons arrival.
