La’el Collins did what he had to do to protect his QB. I’m sure his teammates will be giving him a big pat on the back after this one.
During the heated NFC East battle between Dallas and Washington at FedEx Field today, the Cowboys offensive lineman got ejected from the game for throwing a punch at WFT defensive end Will Bradley-King. Collins came over to the Cowboys sideline to defend his quarterback, Dak Prescott, after he was on the receiving end of a late hit out of bounds after throwing the ball away.
Collins could be seen running into the frame after the play to deliver a hit on Bradley-King before throwing the punch.
Not a single Cowboys player or fan will have a problem with Collins’s actions here — even if they could really use him down the stretch as they try to ice the clock and secure a victory against Washington.
