Cowboys fans should be ashamed of themselves.
Late in the Sunday Night Football game between Dallas and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had to leave after he suffered a hand injury in the 4th quarter.
Instead of cheering him on, fans started to throw trash at him as he left the field.
It was not a good look for the Cowboys and their fans. They couldn’t have asked for a worse start to their 2022 campaign, as the fans weren’t the only ones embarrassing themselves on this night.
The Cowboys’ offense was terrible all evening. Prior to sustaining his injury, Prescott completed just 14 of 29 pass attempts for 134 yards and an interception. Number one wideout Ceedee Lamb was targeted a whopping 11 times, but was only able to come up with two catches for 29 yards.
Things won’t get much easier for the Cowboys in week two, as they host Joe Burrow and what should be a hungry Bengals team coming off a disappointing overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
